Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or date of birth typed into one of the search tools on this site passes directly to the third-party provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and returns the results. Those search terms are not stored or logged on our side.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us is retained so that a reply is possible. It stays inside our team and is not passed to anyone outside the organization unless a legal obligation requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers record a handful of technical details each time a page on this site loads:
- Timestamps for each page view
- The pages visited and the time spent on each
- The browser in use, including its version
- The device type and operating system
- The IP address assigned to the device
- The referring site, where one exists
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are used on this site. They are small files kept on your device that let us see which pages draw traffic and where visitors tend to leave. Analytics services aggregate that traffic information for us. Cookies can be blocked at any time through browser settings, though parts of the site may behave differently afterward.
What We Do With This Data
- Routing search requests to the correct partner service
- Keeping the site online, stable, and quick to load
- Finding and fixing technical problems
- Working out which pages earn their place and which need rewriting
- Displaying advertising that may match your interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, compile, maintain, or sell any database of warrants or personal warrant-record information. What it publishes is general guidance about where Bolivar County warrant records are held in Mississippi and how to reach the courts that issue process, the clerks who keep the files, and the Sheriff's Office that serves it. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing gathered about visitors is assembled into consumer reports or into records about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes on this site. Anything entered into one of them is handled under that partner's privacy policy rather than this one. Their retention and sharing practices are their own, and we do not control them, so read the partner's policy before submitting a search.
Links to Other Websites
These pages link out to Mississippi court pages, county and city offices, state agencies, legal aid organizations, and third-party search tools. Following any of those links takes you off this site, and from that point the other site's privacy policy governs the visit. Read it before sharing personal details.
Some advertising partners may also track activity across sites in order to serve targeted ads. That tracking happens on their systems, not on ours.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Some information may reach:
- Analytics services measuring traffic and performance
- Search partners processing queries run from this site
- Advertising networks placing ads on these pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Standard security practices are applied to the information collected here. Nothing connected to the internet is ever fully secure, though. Reasonable steps are taken, but no promise can be made that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, get in touch and it will be deleted promptly.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, state privacy and consumer-protection law may give you additional rights over your data. Mississippi's own records statute, the Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983 at Miss. Code §§ 25-61-1 et seq., governs access to records held by public bodies such as a county or a city office, not to a private site like this one, and court files in Bolivar County follow separate court rules. Whatever your state, at a minimum you can:
- Request a copy of what we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change over time. A revised version will appear on this page with a new effective date, so check back if you want to follow how information is handled here.
